1. Download the nekocord.zip: Obtain the nekocord.zip file from the official source.

2. Extract the nekocord.zip: Unzip the downloaded file to access its contents.

3. Copy app.asar: Locate the app.asar file within the extracted nekocord folder and copy it.

4. Find Discord Installation Folder:

   • The location of the Discord installation may vary based on your Linux distribution. Here are some common paths:
     • Debian/Ubuntu:

       /usr/share/discord/resources/

     • Arch Linux:

       /usr/lib/discord/resources/

     • Flatpak:

       ~/.var/app/com.discordapp.Discord/data/discord/discord/resources/

     • Snap:

       /snap/discord/current/usr/share/discord/resources/

5. Rename Existing app.asar:

   • Find the existing app.asar file in the installation folder.
   • Rename it to _app.asar (this serves as a backup).

6. Paste the New app.asar:

   • Paste the app.asar file that you copied earlier into the installation folder.

7. Restart Discord: Close and reopen Discord to apply the changes.

By following these steps, you should successfully replace the app.asar file in Discord with the one from nekocord.
